Ernesto Hinestroza (Meru) won the Spanish Open Pegalajar (Serial Class)

Wednesday, 30 May 2018

On the 13th to 19th of may the Spanish open took place in Andalusia in a small, beautiful village called Pegalajar.

Ernesto Hinestroza (Meru) won the Spanish Open Pegalajar (Serial Class)

In total we could fly 4 different tasks and most of the time it was a one-way task over the amazing andalusian flatland. The great scenery, flying over the endless olive plantations was absolutely breathtaking! Sure it was tricky to land in this terrain and it was very important to plan ahead where to go for landing.

Winning the serial class on my UP Meru and flying on a overall 4th place is very satisfying and I am sure I will come back to Spain for competition flying!

Best regards from Pegalajar,
Ernesto
