The UP Profile Rescue Systems are well known for outstanding pendulum stability and fast opening combined with low sink rates. This was achieved by the extravagant design: While common systems are manufactured with straight-cut panels UP uses profiled cell patterns which gave their name to the system.
The aerodynamically optimised, ring-shaped 3D-profile provides a maximum ratio of effective (projected) to plan area. Despite the comparably small packing volume, you can rely on a large effective area that provides low sink rates and high pendulum stability.
Special materials and manufacturing techniques guarantees fast opening and long usage.

Weighing only 1.6kgs and small enough to literally fit in the bottle pocket of your hardshell jacket, this is one life insurance you won't want to forget at home. Principally developed for para-alpininsm, the Profile Light has also found a huge following among comp- and test pilots looking for "one more chance". NEW! Now formally certified for use in Germany as well!

The hook knife is such a simple little thing to carry, yet in so many cases it may literally mean the difference between life and death. Water landings, conflict between main and reserve canopy, or when someone is injured and needs to be freed from the harness without worsening the injuries - the hook knife solves these problems and more.
