Briefly stated, our mission at UP is to build gliders exhibiting class-bursting performance that test squarely within their respective classes – after all, what use is performance if the pilot isn’t enjoying the ride? The all-new Kantega XC is a perfect example of this design policy – a very well-rounded intermediate paraglider that just happens to go better than anything else currently available in its class.
The new Kantega XC is the latest branch on the new UP family tree that started with the Trango 3 and was followed by the Summit XC. It uses the same Hybrid Synergy Airfoil as the Summit XC and has inherited this wings’ amazing performance, but it combines the performance increase with a very forgiving behaviour in all situations. We think that this is THE approach to paraglider design – we want you to feel good about your passion for free flight!
